AI visibility for webshops

Shoppers increasingly ask an assistant before they open a search engine. AI visibility is the measurable share of those answers in which your shop, brand or product page is named as a source. It behaves differently from classic rankings: there is no position one, only whether a model considers your page a reliable answer to a concrete question.

What an AI visibility scan measures

A scan runs a fixed set of buyer questions against several assistants and records three things: whether your domain is mentioned, which competitors are mentioned instead, and which page or source the answer leans on. Repeating the same question set over time turns anecdotes into a trend line you can act on.

Why product pages get skipped

Assistants prefer pages that answer a question directly and state facts unambiguously: identifiers, specifications with units, what is included, and what a product is not suitable for. Marketing prose without verifiable facts gives a model nothing to quote, so it turns to a manufacturer page or a marketplace instead.

Closing the gap

Work from the questions where you are absent. Add the missing facts to the page itself, keep specifications in a structured block rather than an image, and make sure every claim can be traced to a datasheet. WPProductBot writes those blocks into WooCommerce and re-scans afterwards so you can see the effect.

Frequently asked

How often should I scan?
Monthly is enough for a stable catalogue. Scan again two to three weeks after a large content update, so the models have had time to re-crawl.
Does AI visibility replace SEO?
No. The same structured, factual page tends to serve both. Classic SEO decides whether the page is found; AI visibility decides whether the page is quoted.
