From product data to a complete WooCommerce draft.
Frequently asked questions
WPProductBot is currently available to invited beta users only.
General
- What is WPProductBot?
- WPProductBot turns manufacturer URLs, datasheets, manuals, product images and commercial product information into complete, structured WooCommerce product drafts that are ready for review.
- Who is it for?
- WooCommerce shop owners and product teams that maintain technical catalogues with specifications, variants, accessories and documentation.
- Does WPProductBot publish products automatically?
- No. WPProductBot only creates drafts. Publishing is always a deliberate human action inside WooCommerce.
WordPress and WooCommerce
- Do I need the connector plugin?
- Yes. The WPProductBot Connector plugin exposes the endpoints WPProductBot uses to read templates and create drafts securely.
- Does it work with an existing store?
- Yes. WPProductBot is designed for existing catalogues. It reads your current product structure and follows it instead of imposing a new layout.
- What happens to products that are already published?
- Published products are never changed or deleted by WPProductBot during the beta.
AI and accuracy
- Can I edit generated content?
- Every field is editable before the draft is created, and again in WooCommerce afterwards.
- What happens with conflicting sources?
- Conflicts are shown as a conflict status with both values and their source locations. Nothing is silently resolved and missing information is never guessed.
Templates and Product Discover
- What is Product Discover?
- Product Discover analyses an existing WooCommerce product and reuses its structure, section order, CSS classes and writing style, without copying its product-specific content.
- Can I use multiple templates?
- Yes. You can use the automatically discovered site template, custom saved templates, or brand and category specific templates.
Security and privacy
- How are my WordPress credentials stored?
- Application Passwords are encrypted and stored server-side. They are never returned to the browser after saving and never appear in logs.
- Where are uploaded documents stored?
- Datasheets, manuals and price lists are stored in private storage and are only accessible to your account through the server.
Beta access
- How do I get a beta invitation?
- WPProductBot is invite-only during the private beta. Administrators send single-use invitation links that expire and can be revoked at any time.
WPProductBot is currently in private beta.
We are testing WPProductBot with a limited number of WooCommerce shops before opening public access.
